The REST Youth Council

The Council isn't just a voice, we are the driving force behind real change. We are young Black and racialized leaders who refuse to let our experiences define our limits. Instead, we harness our lived expertise to demolish barriers and build the future we deserve. We are the voices of real change, advocates for greater systems movement and challengers of policies that do not include young people at the core.

We are resilient changemakers, bold visionaries, and fierce advocates aged 16-24. We are current and former program participants who know that our stories aren't just testimonies, they are extraordinary blueprints for transformation. We've survived systems that weren't built for us, and now we're rebuilding them.
